    FAQ

    FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

    Q. HOW MUCH MONEY SHOULD I BRING?
    A. It depends from the service you booked. On average, you just need to cover your first month of stay, after that, you will be able to pay with the money saved at work.

    Q. IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT TO BOOK YOUR SERVICES?
    A. It depends from the service you booked: there are no age limitations for the english courses or the stay but, for example, for the Au Pair program you need to be between 19 and 40 years old.

    Q. WHERE ARE THE ACCOMMODATIONS?
    A. All our houses are absolutely easy to reach by bus or metro and perfectly connected to the city center; all the shared houses are in the first 3 zones of London, while some of the families houses can be in the 4th zone as well.

    Q. CAN I USE MY ITALIAN CREDIT/DEBIT CARD IN LONDON?
    A. The majority of the italian credit and debit cards work in London as well; otherwise you can also use a postepay. We advice to travel with not too much cash but just the necessary sum to pay the first rent or depisit. If you want to travel with no cash at all, we offer the possibility to pay rent and deposit online.

    Q. CAN I CHANGE THE ACCOMMODATION IN THE EVENT THAT I DON'T LIKE IT?
    A. Yes, of course. You can ask for a transfer, see other places and change as soon as the new room is free.

    Q. DO I NEED TO PAY TO CHANGE ACCOMMODATION?
    A. Not at all. As long as you are host in our houses you don't have to pay additional costs.

    Q. IS LONDON AS EXPENSIVE AS IT IS SAID?
    A. London is - without a doubt - an expensive city, maybe the most expensive city in Europe. But if we consider the everage salary the situation changes, in fact, salaries and cost of life are proportional and well balanced. This means that if you work in London and receive a salary, your daily expense will not be that high. But be careful with your lifestyle: since the city offers as many things as you like, it's easy to lose sight of your balance and spend all your money! Living a simple life and buying things in the right places can allow you to save money and fully enjoy the city!

    Q. SHOULD I CHANGE MY MONEY IN ITALY OR WHEN I ARRIVE IN THE UK?
    A. Be careful with the cange: both in Italy and in UK there are places more convenient than others. The most important thing is to avoid changing at the airport - the change is the less favourable; wait until you reach the city center and go to a Post Office, these places are highly recommended.

    Q. WHERE ARE THE ACCOMMODATIONS LOCATED?
    A. All our accommodations are located in the first 3 areas of London. The availabity changes according to the period of the year, but we always try to satisfy all the requests: try to book in advance to get the accommodation in the area you prefer.

    Q. WILL I FIND A JOB EVEN IF MY ENGLISH IS NOT FLUENT?
    A. Yes, even if your English level is not high you can find a job. Employers and managers are aware of the great number of people coming and going from the city, and they also know that many times their English is not perfect, but few month are enough for you to improve it: the language issue is not a big obstacle.

    Q. WHICH ARE THE BEST ZONES TO FIND A JOB?
    A. The best areas to find a job are zone 1 and zone 2, the very heart of the city, but other areas are possible as well; we always try to assign jobs according to the location of your house, to minimize distances and travelling times.
