London Overground service allows commuters and tourists to move through the areas - inside and outside the city - that cannot be reached by the Underground. This service is efficiently linked with the Tube network and with its 6 lines it's the second most used means of transport.

You can pay with your Oyster Card (for more info see the section dedicated to this card in our website).

There are train lines that connect other areas of the city such as  the SouthEastern line that serves the south area, the Southern Railway, the Chiltern Railways and the London Midland in the northern area, the Greater Anglia in the east and the South Western Railway in the south east area.

Many trains connect the city with the different airports: the Stansted and the Gatwick Express are really useful to reach the very heart of the city in a blink of an eye.

Tickets are available at the airport authomatic machines (from Stanstead the price is 17£, from Gatwick 28£).
